When the real is no longer what it used to be, nostalgia assumes its full meaning.
There is a proliferation of myths of origin and signs of reality; of second hand truth,

 objectivity and authenticity.Jean Baudrillard, Simulations.
in progress Principles of my work in recent decades mainly consist of the use of photographic and cinematographic media. In most cases in the form of installations consisting of an intersection of old and new equipment and modern technology, such as (remote machine) "Beyond Focus" 2009 and “The Traveling Eye "(1995-2010) Based on the above mentioned context, I started to explore and work on a new time-consuming project entitled 'Nièpce's Room' The starting point is the experiment by Nièpce with sensitized  asphalt in 1826. Nièpces first successful photographic experiment, permanently capturing a picture of reality.  Installation; a dim lighted space / 2 photo-cabinets / (camera obscura principle) and the predominant smell of Judea asphalt and lavender oil.

‘transposition-frame-to-frame’
The work with the polygon slide projection is slowly taking shape and the first tests were successful.Application: two carousel slide projectors, placed directly in front of each lens a motor rotated polygon. The projected images are in a constant back and forth rotation projected into the space in which they at the limit of 180 ˚ merge and transform. Some principles that fascinate me are the invisible retouching that arises from the points of the polygon slide projection(The visual organization - Willem Jan Otten - The Museum of Light) In short, form and content are still under construction. I'll keep you informed.
